Ceremony Wardrobe – Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all dress rentals from Ceremony Wardrobe. By placing a booking with us, you agree to the terms outlined below. If you have any questions, we’re always happy to help,

1. Rental Service

Ceremony Wardrobe provides bridal and occasionwear dress rentals for civil ceremonies, registry weddings, and other special events. Our rental service includes temporary use of selected garments and the use of any accessories included in the booking.

2. Booking & Payment

  • All bookings must be made via our website or by contacting us directly.

  • Full payment is required to secure your rental.

  • Payments are processed securely. We do not store any payment details.

  • A refundable security deposit may be applied to high-value garments at our discretion.

3. Rental Period

  • Our standard rental period is 3–5 days, including delivery and return.

  • The rental period starts on the day the item is delivered to you and ends on the day it is posted or returned to us.

  • If you require an extended rental period, please contact us in advance. Additional charges may apply.

4. Delivery

  • Dresses are delivered to the address provided at checkout or during booking confirmation.

  • We aim to deliver your rental 1–2 days before your event to ensure timely arrival.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services or incorrect information provided during booking.

5. Returns

  • All items must be returned using the pre-paid label and packaging provided.

  • The return parcel must be dropped off or posted back by 12 noon on the agreed return date.

  • Late returns will incur a fee of £15 per day, and after 5 days, the item may be considered sold,
    and you will be charged the full retail value.

  • If the return packaging is lost or damaged, you are responsible for arranging alternative secure packaging and postage.

6. Fit & Style

  • We do our best to provide accurate sizing information and are happy to help you choose a dress that suits your needs.

  • Please note we cannot offer refunds if the item doesn’t fit, especially if correct sizing guidance was offered at the time of booking.

  • Minor adjustments or temporary fittings must be agreed with us first and must not alter or damage the garment.

7. Garment Care

  • All items are professionally cleaned before and after each rental.

  • Please do not wash or dry clean the item yourself.

  • Normal wear is expected. However, you may be charged for any damage, such as stains, tears, or burns.

  • In cases of irreparable damage or loss, you will be charged up to the full retail value of the item.

8. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations made 14 days or more before the scheduled delivery date will receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the delivery date are non-refundable, but a credit note may be issued at our discretion.

  • In the unlikely event that an item becomes unavailable due to damage or late return from a previous client, we will contact you immediately and offer a full refund or an alternative item.

9. Photos & Promotion

We may ask for your permission to use any photos you share of your dress rental experience on our social media or website. If you say yes—thank you! You can withdraw consent at any time.

10. Your Responsibilities

By renting from Ceremony Wardrobe, you agree to:

  • Care for the item responsibly during the rental period

  • Return the item on time and in its original condition

  • Be responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the item during your rental period

11. Our Rights

Ceremony Wardrobe reserves the right to:

  • Cancel any booking at our discretion

  • Refuse a rental if we believe the garment will be put at risk

  • Update these Terms & Conditions at any time, with changes posted on our website
